We are looking for Bus Drivers

Iron Range Bus Lines operates buses throughout Northwestern Ontario and has been a leading employment provider since 1940. Employment as a bus driver is a rewarding experience that provides opportunities to interact with the community.   • Most drivers make between $16,000 to $20,000 per year working only 187 days.
  • Drivers know their schedule a year in advance.
  • Average wage is $22.50 / HR with a minimum of 4 hours per day.
  • A sign-on bonus of $500 to $1,000 depends on your driver’s license.
  • Attendance and retention bonus ranges from $2,000 to $3,000 per year.
  • Drivers don’t work summers, Christmas Break, March Break, weekends or nights.
  • Drivers must undergo criminal background check and MTO medical.
  • Paid training is provided for qualified applicants.

Iron Range Bus Lines Inc. has been owned and operated by the Logozzo family for over 80 years. Established in 1940 by Sam Logozzo, the company started out with one bus that travelled back and forth from Kakabeka to Thunder Bay every day.

Today, Iron Range serves six school boards with more than 200 school buses, transporting more than 10,000 students a day. We employ 265 staff members including administration, drivers, mechanics and shop staff, in four locations across Northwestern Ontario. Living in and working to support the local communities is a very important aspect of our business. We service the Northwest with safe, reliable, modern buses and are very proud of our safety record.
